Cinnamon Weaver Ploceus badius (local Name: Abu Dalo Dalo)
Description:

About 15 centimeters. The breeding male is characterized by a black head, neck, and bill, while the majority of the body have cinnamon color. The rump and tail are yellow, and the wings display yellow with black streaks.

Distribution and Status:

Uncommon resident bird that is endemic to Sudan and South Sudan. It is found from Khartoum southward, along the banks of the Nile.

Habitat:

Grassy savannas and agricultural fields near the banks of the Nile and irrigation canals.
