Citrus Swallowtail Papilio demodocus
Description: Sexes very similar, this species is a large butterfly have Black with yellow markings in upperside wings; underneath the dark markings are dark brown. Hind wing have red and blue eyespots.

Distribution: One of the most widespread species in sub-Saharan Africa, Madagascar and Arabia
Distribution in Sudan: Very common and Widespread in all state states
Habitat: Found in many types of habitats from semi-desert to forest, garden and agriculture fields where the host plants are available which include lemon, orange trees (Citrus spp.) and related plants.
