Description: This species is dark brown in upperside wing and grey below with black spot, Three tornal spots on both sides of the hindwing with a large fused orange.

Wingspan: ♂ 15–19mm ♀ 16–20mm.

Distribution in Sudan: It is very common and widespread thought central of Sudan, east to red sea hills and north along Nile valley up to Northern state.

Distribution: Africa, Arabia, Madagascar, south-eastern Europe, Near East, India

Habitat: Grassy areas and Grassland in Savannah, forest, agricultural fields, gardens, but even grassy rocky hill.
